The course is specifically designed for adult learners. It is very interactive, with lots of small group work and breakout sessions. It is essential for all clinical trainers and is led by an expert faculty.The course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to enhance your teaching sessions, to give more effective feedback, improve your assessment technique and give you experience of performing difficult appraisals.The course is suitable for all consultants and for those trainees in their final 2 years. It is recognised as fulfilling the requirements to be an educational and clinical supervisor. It is also recognised for the theoretical component of the ‘Medical Education’ Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM).
