In 1985 Dr. Lol Berman and Dr. Gerald de Lacey published the first description of a radiographer alert system in the U.K. See: Berman L, de Lacey G, et al. BMJ 1985: 290 : 421-422.Subsequently, the Red Dot Alert scheme was introduced throughout the U.K.This one day course has been designed to meet the specific needs of Radiographers. The day is divided into four periods. Each period commences with 15 minute lectures followed by cases analysis at workstations. The Answer sessions are constructed as interactive tutorials.
