Description

Since its foundation in 1968, this highly successful patient support organisation has funded a large number of important research projects. To celebrate this, as part of the fiftieth birthday festivities, the Psoriasis Association and Dowling Club are holding an exciting joint educational symposium at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

This one-day event, which will be of interest to healthcare providers working with people with psoriasis, scientists and regulators, will link research outputs, particularly projects funded by the Psoriasis Association, to clinical practice.

Speakers:

We are delighted to have the involvement of the following national and international psoriasis experts already confirmed as members of the faculty:

Professor Catherine Smith, Professor Jonathan Barker, Dr Elise Kleyn, Professor Nick Reynolds and Dr Helen Young.

Topics will include:

• The mind and the skin: neuroscience and psoriasis
• Pustular psoriasis: how genetic discovery has driven novel treatments
• Linking psoriasis research to personalised care
• An update on the important Psoriasis Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) which the Psoriasis Association have funded.
