The ceremony takes place in the beautiful Assembly Hall, followed by an afternoon tea and drinks reception. Who is invitedThis ceremony is open only to those who have become Fellows or Ordinary Members of the College between October 2018 and January 2019. If you are unsure which month your membership starts, or have other questions about your membership, please contact our Member Services team on will email all eligible attendees an invitation with detailed instructions in the first week of the month that their membership starts.For example, if your membership starts in October you will receive your invitation in the first week of October. Please do not contact us before this time.Guest ticketsNew Members and Fellows are welcome to bring up to three family and friends as paid guests. There is a maximum of three guests per Member or Fellow.Adults – £40Children (6 years and over) – £20Children under 6 years may attend the ceremony, though restrictions may apply. Please contact the Events team to discuss on will open registration from 12:00 to stagger queues. If you are bringing your membership certificate with you on the day we advise you arrive early to allow enough time.Water, juice and limited seating will be available.Ceremony in the Assembly HallAt 14:00, we will call in Fellows and Members for seating. Once seated, we will ask guests to take their places. Everyone must be seated by 14:25.The ceremony starts at 14:30 and will finish at about 16:30.Afternoon tea with a drinks receptionTime to celebrate! Join us to toast your admission to the College with your friends and families. Network with other Members and Fellows, as well as Officers and staff from the College. Photography serviceSuccess Photography provides official photography. Based in the Harvey Goodwin Suite, they will be available before and after the ceremony, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 18:00. Members and Fellows will also be photographed while being presented with their certificate on stage.
