This one-day course will cover hands-on simulation looking at judgement and laparoscopic skills in relation to general surgical emergencies. It is an introduction to laparoscopic operating in emergency general surgery. It involves a close look at decision-making in difficult clinical scenarios and takes this through to the extra operative skills and techniques which are sometimes necessary to deal with unusual or technically difficult situations.
