It will help you to recognise and manage acute symptoms, to identify poor control of the condition and to decide when the patient should be referred on.Through informal lectures and interactive practical sessions delivered in an informal and supportive environment, you will gain the confidence to effectively manage children with asthma at home, at school and in early years’ settings.You will learn to:Understand the epidemiology and impact of asthmaMake an accurate diagnosisAssess and manage acute episodesApply BTS/SIGN guidelines in managementUse inhaler devicesManage asthma in schoolsOur courses are removed from the website at least two days before the start date, so that students have all necessary information for their studies when they begin.
