This is a joint study day hosted by the Primay Care Dermatology Society and the Royal College of General Practitioners and builds on Series 1 in Essential Dermatology, covering many common presentations in the primary care setting.Up to 25% of all GP consultations relate to the skin, with consistently high referral rates into secondary care. This course therefore aims to give GPs the confidence to diagnose and treat many common dermatological conditions, as well as giving GPs the confidence to know when to refer to secondary care. Course informationEssential Dermatology Series 2 expands GPs’ knowledge base and is particularly appropriate for those who have benefitted from the original Series 1 course. However it is also at a level which can be readily understood by any GP registrar, GP or interested Nurse Practitioner. The subjects have been chosen to help practitioners in their day-to-day work dealing with common skin problems.Topics include urticaria, genital dermatology, viral/bacterial/fungal infections and inflammatory skin conditions.Pricing StructureRCGP Member£100.00Non-Member£130.00Organiser nameThames Valley Faculty, RCGPEmail AddressFaculty Administrator: Nicola 188 7706
