Description

The course is delivered to a large group of people, but offers plenty of opportunity for interaction and a shortpractical session. If you have a dermatoscope, please bring it with you (and camera if you use one) – therewon’t be any patients, but you will be practising on each other. If you don’t have a dermatoscope, don’tworry, we should be able to manage one between 2 or 3 and one of our sponsoring companies will have astand with several different types of dermatoscope for you to view with no obligation to purchase. Please note that this course is NOT aiming to make you competent to diagnose early melanomas or difficultatypical naevi or anything too challenging. It is the real basics, including how to use a dermatoscope, keepingit clean, taking good pictures through it, and concentrating on being able to tell the difference betweencommon benign lesions such as seborrhoeic keratoses, BCCs, and melanomas.
