Description

This Aspire to Inspire workshop is for anyone involved in teaching in a healthcare setting who wants to become a more effective educator.

Through informal lectures and practical sessions delivered by experts in the field of health education, we will build on your understanding of how adults learn, their attitudes and motivation, and explore different teaching styles and facilitating skills.

There will be plenty of opportunities, in a relaxed and supportive setting, to try out different techniques and new approaches to teaching, with constructive one-to-one feedback from our experienced course facilitators.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to recognise your preferred teaching style, and identify how to build on your personal strengths and communication skills to be a more effective educator.

You will learn to:

Train people and communicate more effectively
Recognise your preferred teaching style
Understand different learning styles
Develop facilitation and presentation skills
Deal with difficult situations
Our courses are removed from the website at least two days before the start date, so that students have all necessary information for their studies when they begin. Many of our courses fill quickly and are removed once all places are sold so we advise early booking to avoid disappointment.
